I care about your privacy. This website is a personal, static site, and it is built to respect the people who read it. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to data when you visit.

What this site does not do

This site does not track you. There are/is:

  • No analytics of any kind.
  • No third-party tracking scripts.
  • No advertising.
  • No third-party cookies.
  • No tracking pixels, beacons, or browser fingerprinting.

The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme preference. This is kept in your browser’s localStorage, on your own device. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to me or anyone else, and it is not a tracking cookie. If you clear your browser storage, it simply disappears.

The fonts used here are self-hosted, so viewing a page does not send a request to Google Fonts or any other outside service.

Cookies and third parties

There is no cookie or consent banner on this site. That is a deliberate choice, and it is possible because the site sets no non-essential cookies and shares no data with any third-party partners. The number of advertising or data-sharing partners is exactly zero.

What is collected, and why

Data collection is kept to the strict minimum needed to run and secure the site. In practice, this means only the standard access logs kept by the web server (traefik). When you request a page, the server may record your IP address, the page requested, and your browser’s user-agent string. This is ordinary server behaviour and is used solely for security and diagnostics, for example to spot abuse or fix faults. It is never used for advertising and is never shared with third parties.

Data retention

Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days and are then deleted. This retention period reflects standard hosting practice: a short window long enough to be useful for security and troubleshooting, but no longer than necessary.
